From very early on me and a couple of good friends set out to explore New York during this historic storm.
A few weeks ago I had the chance to photograph the very incredible Elena Laurenti. After our shoot she wanted to write about her experience and thoughts from it. Here are her words:
I was especially excited to work on this project. Had the opportunity to lend my vision and create something born from my previous work. It's at times like this that I realize how incredibly lucky I am.

Two days ago on 9/11 I read an article prophecizing the arrival of an aurora borealis near NY. As someone who lived in the caribbean for most of their life, these lights and their dance is the stuff of dreams.
